Let us introduce ourselves!
We were founded on April 25, 1966 as Local 207 U.R.W. (United Rubber Workers) Employees Credit Union to give the hard-working men and women, and their families, of Cooper Tire & Rubber Company in Findlay a place to more easily borrow and more effectively save. We became Millstream Area Credit Union on March 13, 1984 to better reflect the growing membership after salaried employees of Cooper Tire and additional Select Employer Groups had previously been invited to join. Despite the name change and the expansion to a community charter in September 2000, later expanded to include Allen, Hardin, Putnam, Seneca and Wood counties in February 2008, we have never lost sight of who we are—a financial cooperative built on the values of honesty, hard work, and looking out for each other.
